About T23 Scouts

Our scouts come primarily from the Keystone Oaks School district, but also from the surrounding area. They represent a wide variety of backgrounds, interests, skills and accomplishments. We try to recognize their achievements in the unit as it happens.

Our troop has young scouts (age 11) all the way through to 17 years 364 days. (Once they turn 18, some have become adult leaders in the troop.)

The troop plans regular camping trips and have gone as close as Sharpsburg to as far away as North Carolina to experience all that Scouting has to offer. The yearly plan is set up so that scouts will experience a variety of activities including the following:

  1. Just camping in the woods
  2. Backpacking
  3. Caving
  4. Canoeing
  5. Camping at historical sites like Gettysburg
If you think you might be interested, join the Troop on (most) Tuesday evenings from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. See what we are about.
